Which accounting standards do you follow?

All scoring engines are built around IAS/IFRS (including IAS 1, IAS 2, IAS 7, IAS 12, IAS 16, IAS 36, IAS 37, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16). US GAAP terminology is recognised through automatic synonym matching, so entries like "Accounts Receivable" vs "Trade Receivables" are both accepted.

How does scoring work?

Each challenge is scored out of 100 against an expected answer, line by line: correct accounts, amounts, classifications, and structure. A score of 80 or above counts as "solved". Premium users see detailed per-line feedback explaining exactly what was wrong and why.

What is the 30 Days of Accounting series?

A structured tutorial path: 30 daily lessons, each paired with practice challenges. Complete the series to earn a certificate. Days unlock progressively — you can have at most one unsolved day behind you before the next one locks.

How do I cancel auto-renewal?

Go to Profile → Membership and click "Cancel Auto-Renewal". Your Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the free plan — no further charges. You can resume auto-renewal any time before the expiry date.

What happens to my work if I go back to the free plan?

Nothing is lost — ever. All your solved challenges (including hard ones), scores, times, submission history, rankings, and certificates stay yours and remain accessible. You only lose access to new hard challenges, unlimited attempts, and detailed feedback.

Do you offer discounts for students or universities?

Universities and institutions get separate plans with courses, assignments, exams, and analytics — contact us for a demo. We also occasionally issue voucher codes for individual discounts.

How are payments processed?

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record — a payment provider used by thousands of software companies. Your card details never touch our servers. The charge on your statement will appear from Paddle.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Paddle checkout supports major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and, depending on your country, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Can I get a refund?

From Profile → Membership → Request a refund. You'll get a case reference (like RF-2026-0012) and a decision within 2 business days, delivered to your notifications. Approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Yes — subscriptions renew automatically so your access never lapses, and your renewal date is always visible in Profile → Membership. You can switch auto-renewal off there at any time, and we notify rather than surprise: your plan and next billing date are never hidden.

How do certificates work?

You earn certificates by completing tutorial series (like 30 Days of Accounting) and by reaching solve milestones (10, 25, 50, 100 challenges). Each certificate has a unique serial number that anyone can verify publicly — useful for CVs and LinkedIn.

How are rankings calculated?

Solving challenges earns ranking points weighted by difficulty. Points place you on the global and country leaderboards and determine your badge level (Bronze → Silver → Gold → Crystal → Diamond). Your country is detected automatically and can be changed in your profile.

Can I keep my profile private?

Yes — toggle "Public profile" off in your profile settings. You'll still see your own stats, but you won't appear on leaderboards or public profile pages.

I found a bug — how do I report it?

Use the bug report button available on platform pages, or the contact form. Reports include an automatic screenshot so we can reproduce the issue quickly. Bug reports also strengthen any refund claim related to technical problems.

Can I sign in with Google?

Accepted Answer

Yes — both registration and sign-in support Google accounts. If you registered with email first, signing in with Google using the same email links the two automatically.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and submission history. If you have an active subscription, cancel auto-renewal first so no further charges occur.

How is my data handled?
